Ali Tramline End - Chrome

• The Ali Tramline End is a floor profile that matches the design of your flooring and covers the expansion gap around the perimeter of a room or up against a sliding door when dry-back vinyl flooring or laminate flooring is installed. Otherwise known as "floating" (because the flooring naturally expands and contracts), dry-back floors slot together rather than being glued to the floor and this scotia trim neatly covers up the gap which appears when this type of floorcovering contracts.
• Also known as a scotia trim by flooring professionals, the Ends are a smart and professional alternative to cheap, wood scotia trims and mouldings available from DIY outlets, which tend to easily scuff and mark.
• The 3mm and 5mm recess options work with luxury vinyl and laminate flooring planed down to 3mm or 5mm thick. Meanwhile, the 1mm recess option is designed for WPC/SPC styles of vinyl (wood or stone composite core) where the top, patterned layer can be peeled off and inserted into the End.
• Stick a strip of your flooring into the recess and stick to the skirting using the self-adhesive strip for a continuous and elegant edge to your flooring.
• Made in robust aluminium and available in 4 metal frame options: polished brass, chrome, antique brass, black.
• This scotia beading trim is available in 1800mm lengths, suitable for cutting to size or joining.
• Suitable for finishing both curved edges and straight.

Size options

• Order the 3mm deep recess (for 3mm thick) or 5mm (for 5mm thick) for similarly thick luxury vinyl (LVT) or laminate flooring.

Fitting tips for the 3mm and 5mm recess option

• Measure up carefully and choose the correct recess option for your specific flooring.
• Ensure there is no dirt or dust.
• Cut and stick a strip of the vinyl or laminate flooring into the recess using the inner self-adhesive strip.
• Attach the beading strip to the skirting board using the outer self-adhesive strip.

Fitting tips for the 1mm option

• Measure up, score and peel-off a suitably sized strip of the top layer of your WPC or SPC vinyl flooring. This is a skilled job, so please see this manufacturer's video for a demonstration.
• Stick into into the recess by peeling off the inner self-adhesive strip on the scotia trim.
• Attach to the skirting board using the outer self-adhesive strip.
