The AL/ANF door thresholds are a stylish and secure way to join a piled carpet to vinyl flooring or floorboards. The curved edge of the door threshold strip creates a rounded edge and avoids a trip hazard
A smooth, curved edge to slope down to the vinyl or floorboards.
The two floors to be joined should be level with each other for the ANF to lie flat. However, if yours are slightly different, chock a slim piece of wood underneath and raise the base.
The carpet is gripped under tension by the teeth, whilst on the other side the floorcovering lies under the curved edge. Therefore, there are no raw edges or rucked up carpet.
The AL/ANF carpet trim is suitable for carpet up to around 8.5mm thick when compressed, plus underlay.
Made from a high grade aluminium in three finish options: satin, brushed (with a slight golden hue to the aluminium), bright (mirror-finish aluminium effect) and satin (brushed aluminium effect). Please note, there may be a slight shade difference from batch to batch..
The visible door strip is around 19mm wide and is available in 900mm (90 cm) or 2.71m (2.715m) lengths.
Otherwise known in the trade as a single naplock or single carpet door strip.

Fitting tips for the AL/ANF aluminium door bars

Cut to length with a sharp hack-saw.
Stick to the floor using a propriety adhesive, nail or screw (avoiding any underfloor heating).
The underlay is cut short of the door bar.

Orders over £75.00 in value are delivered free of charge to most UK mainland addresses. Under £75.00 the charge is £8.95 including VAT.

For Northern Ireland, the Highlands and certain Scottish postcodes and off-shore islands a fixed delivery charge of £15.00 including VAT is charged. For the Isle of Man and Channel Islands a fixed charge of £20.00 including VAT is charged.

Regrettably, we are unable to ship overseas, including Republic of Ireland.
