Product Description
- Solid brass, triangular-rod brackets are sold in pairs and come complete with matching screws.
- Brackets are available in ten metal finishes: polished brass, antique or satin brass, antique bronze, polished chrome, brushed chrome, satin and polished nickel, pewter and black.
- These eyes are suitable for runner carpets.
- Similar design to those those supplied with our Royale and Tudor ranges of stair rods, which feature a fleur-de-lys.
- Should your stair rods be old, you may find they differ in diameter to those currently in the marketplace, in which case simply tighten up the grub screw.
Size options
Triangular brackets cater for rods with a visible flat face, measuring approximately 1” (25mm) across.
Fitting
- These stair rod eyes are supplied with No. 6 screws: drill a pilot hole before fixing the brackets to the staircase, then drill a 4mm clearance hole for the screw shank. It is suggested for softwood: drill a 2.5mm pilot hole and hardwood a 3mm pilot hole. To avoid damaging the screws it is suggested you use a low drill speed.
- Supplied with a small grub screw which screws into the back of the bracket to hold the rod firm.
- Runner rods brackets: affix either side of the runner.
Cleaning your triangular rod brackets
- These brackets have an invisible lacquer to protect them and keep them looking pristine.
- Simply wipe clean occasionally, and do not polish.
- If you use any household cleaners to clean surrounding wood and paintwork, this should be applied to the cloth and not directly sprayed on the surface of the staircase, as the cleaner can react with the finish of the rods.

Unfortunately although they looked to be just what we wanted, they were too small for our stair rods. I contacted Carpet Runners to see if they had them in a larger size but the answer was no. So they have been returned. Had the size been useable I am sure they would have been perfect. Please make them in a larger size!!
